Track

Tracking work is the main purpose of software process tools. Yet many tools make it much harder than it should be. The Exia Process makes work item tracking a breeze. In fact, it makes it fun for the first time. 

Easily create a new Task or Bug with a couple of keystrokes, to ensure that it's captured and not forgotten. Later on find it quickly and add any necessary information. Assign it, fix it, close it and report on it. It's all easy and fluid. 


Features

  • Track User Stories, Test Cases, Tasks, Bugs and Issues. 
  • Add any work item with a single keyboard shortcut, from anywhere. For instance Ctl-Sh-B adds a new Bug. 
  • Only one fields is required to save, the Title. We don't make you waste time filling in fields you don't need. . 
  • Track who the item is assigned to. 
  • For Bugs, track the severity level. 
  • For Bugs, track Steps to Reproduce. 
  • Add unlimited details. Clicking the + button adds a new detail line to the top, so that details are in reverse chronological order, making it easy to spot the last update. 
  • Click the //.. button next to the detail field to copy the last entry to the clipboard, along with the title and workitem id, in code commented format, so that you can easily paste cross-references into your code without having to type them out by hand.
  • View complete history at a glance by expanding the History panel. Hide history when you don't need it. History is down to the field level. 
  • Use the Bug Workflow panel to visualize the flow of a Bug through its lifecycle. 
  • Track the Area, the physical or logical area the item is associated with, such as Web UI, Database, Middle Tier, Web Service etc.
  • Track the Iteration, the unit of time in which the item will be addressed. 
  • Track the Stage within the iteration corresponding to the position on the Agile WhiteBoard. 
  • Assign User Stories, Bugs, Tasks and Issues to iterations. User Test Cases are automatically assigned based on the User Story they belong to. 
  • Work items assigned to iterations are visible on the Agile WhiteBoard. Bugs, Tasks and Issues all have a different look and feel on the board from User Stories, for easy identification. 
  • Track State, State Change Reason and Resolved Reason. 
  • For Bugs, track the build in which the bug was found and in which it is resolved. 
  • To link items to service software, track the service reference number. 
  • To link items to external documentation systems, track the document reference number. 
  • Add images to work items with the built-in image capture, or by dragging and dropping on the form. Attached images can be viewed in place by clicking the image title. 
  • Add captions to images just by typing. 
  • Add attachments (documents) to work items by dragging and dropping, or by selecting. 
  • Filter any list of work items simply by typing a few letters. Filtering applies to several of the most common fields. 
  • Use more advanced filters by expanding the Filter panel. Click to see filters such as "my Bugs", "Assigned Bugs", or "Unassigned Bugs".
